Mount Ephraim, anticlockwise. 4.45pm.

The fading willow herb stalks swaying in the wind are the kinked and spine collared necks of alien flora waving as they feed in the currents of an outlandish sea.

Oh, your words are nicer than mine... how beautiful and evocative. This time of year is amazing, isn't it?

I have been feeling really frustrated with how sad and ragged tired everything looks -- I can't help but think of August as summer's February.

But the more I look, the more amazing things I spot -- fruit; fantastic skies; skeletons where there were once seeds.
